Praise offerings!

The generosity of our church family amazes us every day.  Here are a few things they have been up to:

  • The Spring Festival hosted over a hundred families for carnival games and lunch!  The Silent auction raised almost $900 for our Youth Scholarship program!
  • A Cake and Cookie Auction raised enough money at our Chili and Soup cook off's to send one youth to camp this summer!  Praise God for his continued provisions!
  • Our new Sunday School Class is studying the book of John and growing each week in the Lord's light and love.
  • Wednesday night bible study continues to study the word of God in Isaiah and we are discovering how living and active it really is!
  • Women's bible study wrapped up studying Jonah.  Hearts were challenged, lives were impacted.  Our women will be stepping out in service at our Spring Festival as a missions project.
  • Spring Festival Planning is under way and God has been gracious to provide many donations for the festival along with donations from the Simpsonville Business community for our Silent Auction!  We are never surprised but always grateful for the generosity God stirs in the hearts of man.
  • Our church members donate faithfully every week to the Backpack food program, helping to feed over 300 in need children in our local tri-city area.
  • JOY Fellowship is back in action and continues to share Jesus with each other, and welcomes you to come each month too.
  • 10 youth joined 4 other churches for the 2017 Discipleship NOW Conference.  The word of God and the Gospel of Jesus was proclaimed boldly!  The youth also helped pack 300 food bags and organize a food cupboard for a local church organization that feeds hungry kids in the Simpsonville/Fountain Inn area.  The youth then handed out flowers to strangers all over Fairview Rd. to offer blessings for a great day.
  • Our Youth Yard sale raised just about $1000!  All of this was profit and will be used to provide scholarship opportunities to ensure all youth can attend discipleship and camp opportunities in 2017!  Thank you Jesus and thank you to our wonderful church family for cleaning out the closets for donations, and food donations!
  • Money to provide more than 40 bible sticks for our Military personnel overseas has been raised!  These bible sticks will put the living word of God into the hands of soldiers in the field.
  • 76 Operation Christmas Child boxes were shipped overseas to bless children this Christmas Season, who may not otherwise experience the gift of Jesus.
