Who We Are

Set Apart

Welcome to the website of Unity Baptist Church, Simpsonville, South Carolina!

Let me tell you a little about who we are.

We are a Southern Baptist Church and are associated with the Greenville Baptist Association.

Sunday School Classes for all ages begin at 10:00 am, and Two Corporate Worship Services, the first one at 9:00 am and the second one at 11:00 am.

Our midweek worship is on Wednesday nights, and begins with dinner at 6pm in the fellowship hall for all the kids.

Midweek Worship Includes:

BLAST which is a ministry committed to the belief that the greatest impact for Christ starts with kids who know, love and serve Him. BLAST is for children 5 years old through 6th grade and begins at 6:30pm on Wednesdays.

Our Youth group meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8pm in the fellowship hall, where they study they Bible and learn what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. This is also where our students learn how to own their faith through the study of Christian doctrine, application, and apologetics.

Adult Bible study occurs at 6:30pm in the sanctuary where we have an interactive session focused on one or two chapters of a selected book of the Bible.

Are you looking for a church home? My goal is to help people find a church that’s right for you whether it’s here at Unity Baptist, or somewhere else. There are lots of excellent churches in our community. So come and worship with us! We’d love to get to know you better.

The generosity of our church family amazes us every day. Here are a few things they have been up to:

  • Women gathered twice a week to develop closer intimacy with God in our Quest study. We will be gathering to study Holy Spirit scriptures next!
  • Our 5th annual Chili Cook Off raised over $1400 last year and we are looking forward to our 4th cook off in March of 2019!
  • Each month we visit our home-bound with treats and encouragement! We have also brought meals to our sister and brothers who have been ill or had surgeries.
  • Our Sunday school classes meet before worship service each week to grow together in the Holy Word of God.
  • Wednesday night bible study is wrapping up studying the word of God in Hosea and we will begin in Revelation shortly!
  • Our church members donate faithfully every month to the Backpack food program, helping to feed over 300 in need children in our local tri-city area.
  • JOY Fellowship continues to share Jesus with each other, and welcomes you to come each month too..
